What is Induction Heating?

It is the process of heating a metal by electromagnets

How does it work?
A electronic device passes a high-frequency alternating current (AC) through the electromagnet.

The rapidly alternating magnetic field penetrates the object, generating electric currents inside it - these are called 'Eddy currents'., These Eddy currents flow through the resistance of material and heat it up.

The induction heating process generates the heat inside the object itself rather than heating the object by an external source, for example with oxy-acetylene.

The COMBIDUCTION AUTO 50 LG induction heater provides immediate heating power for the unseizing and heating of steel or aluminium. Fitted with a specialised connector, this appliance brings together various inductors used for both mechanical and maintenance operations, as well as for car-body work. The device’s versatility offers a wide range of solutions for the unseizing, unblocking, straightening, repairing and removal of component parts.

• 5,200 W, can be set in 500 W increments. Heats to the metal’s core turning it red (approx. 800°C).

GYS Powerduction 50LG (C20/B1)

The POWERDUCTION 50LG provides instant and powerful heating to release or heat both steel and aluminium. Equipped with a liquid cooling unit, this product is capable of heating metal parts for minutes at a time without interruption.

The ideal tool for mechanical and maintenance work:

Featuring flame-less technology, its heating is accurate, instantaneous and safe for the working environment. Thanks to its liquid-cooling system, this machine can work continuously at its maximum power (11 kW). Designed for use on a three-phase, 16 A socket, it is particularly effective for HGV mechanical work, public works vehicles and agricultural machinery.
