Bristol Auto Electrical, a well-established family business spanning Bristol and Wiltshire, boasts a remarkable legacy of over three decades in the realm of auto electrical expertise.

In 2021 Bristol Auto Electrical became Employee-Owned. As an employee-owned company, we're driven by passion and pride in what we do. This means every member of our team has a vested interest in the success of our business.

At present, our team includes nine fully trained Mobile Auto Electricians, each armed with the latest diagnostic equipment. Beyond our specialization in auto electrical repairs, our skilled engineers are equipped to service a diverse range of vehicles.

Automotive Electrician / Automotive Fitter - From £35,984 to £40,000 per annum, Full time

You will be supplied with a company van to travel to our customer sites.

The Principal Duties of this role are as follows.

  • Installations of specialist aftermarket equipment into vehicles – Usually Safety products into Commercial vehicles – Cameras, Proximity sensors, Lighting, Power management and related equipment

  • General automotive electrical repairs and diagnostics – Fault finding and repair of Car, Van & HGV’s,

  • Experience in installing aftermarket equipment into new and used vehicles.

  • Knowledge in using various diagnostic equipment advantageous.

  • Must have good knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and be able to diagnose basic and complex faults.

  • City and Guilds or NVQ Qualifications will be especially useful however not essential.

  • Someone that is a qualified Master tech would be suitable.

Secondary duties and responsibilities

  • Talking to customers

  • Liaising with Service department

  • Admin – Recording of Time, parts, and labour

Monday to Friday

24 days holiday per a year + bank holidays
